How to Use the Software To generate an estimate with My Debt Elimination Calculator you must enter information about your financial situation. The information is entered by category. The categories are as follows: General Information P&I Loan Details HELOC Details Income Expenses Each one of these categories has a corresponding Tab in the application. Click on the Tab to see the current information entered for the category. The Quick Estimate The Quick Estimate gives you the highlights of your estimate. As you enter your information, the Quick Estimate will be updated. If the information you entered indicates you will pay off the debt, it will tell you how long it will take and how much interest you will save by using the system. Detailed Estimate After you have entered all your information, you can generate a Detailed Estimate by clicking on the green arrow  in the tool bar. The Detailed Estimate tells you the summary information and breakdown of the balances at different times if the debt will be paid off. The Detailed Estimate will only be as good as the information you enter. The more detailed you are about the information regarding your loans, income and expenses; the better the estimates generated by My Debt Elimination Calculator will be. If you maintain a budget, you should be able to easily generate an accurate estimate. However, you must realize that all the tool can give you is an estimate. The tool does not forecast increases in your income or expenses over time. Saving and Printing Estimates Estimates can be saved, printed and later re-opened in My Debt Elimination Calculator just like you would save, print or open a Word document or an Excel spreadsheet. These features will be available to you when you purchase an activation code.
